All of the members came from countryside, not urban. About a title of group: In ancient times on the wrist of warriors was a special shield for protecting major dactyl from impact of a bowstring. The sound of impact of a bowstring on this shield is defined what the warrior is shooting: strong or feeble. The shield was named DUPS (is read with short vocal, without accents). This word associates with strong warrior, capable to shoot in long distance. The group has two programs: one is ethno-music and the second is pop-music. First program is based in our national antique music. Author of the music is Mekheele Tumus. He is a “God Father” of our ethno-rock music. Our famous groups (CHOLBON, AITAL, CHOROON) and singer STEPANIDA BORISOVA worked with him. Second program is based on our songs. Read more on Last.fm.
