The band named СтиХ (pronouncing S-T-I-H) was formed in the town of Chekhov, Moscow region, Russia in September of 2004 when band founders Yura 'Choo-Ree-Choo' ChooReign (formerly known as simply Yuri Chursin) and Victor DJ Pooso Dr. Gore (formerly known as Victor Galushin) agreed on the name of their musical project. Then their next step was recording the demo CD, that was released only in 2006 and was named Эпитафия (Epitaph), that was tributed to their lost friend Denis Ermakov (Денис Ермаков)... The first demo was made with help of Evgeny DJ Nitro Sivkin and Konstantin 'the Cat' Korotaev. By some time guys (actually Yuri & Victor) recorded and released (Yuri alone) their web EP, named запутавшись в стропах сознания... (afoul in cords of the conscious...) and the compilation of their early electronic works - Notes from the Attic In addition all the members of the group were experimenting with different music forms and computer-composing... In year 2008 Yuri decided to end the story of СтиХ (he was there almost all alone since 2006) and closed the project by... the groups webpage is currently here: http://vkontakte.ru/club1802950.
