Gorgisheli (Ukrainian, Ґорґішелі, Georgian, გორგიშელი) are a ukrainian pop-rock band founded in 2003 in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. The core lineup was known since 1997 as Чорний Вересень [Chornyj Veresen'] (Black September). Tamara and Eteri Gorgisheli, two sisters of Georgian ethnicity who were born and have spent all their life in Lviv, are the heart o fthe band. The music of Gorgisheli combines elements of art rock with Georgian and Ukrainian folk music. The band took part in a number of nationwide festivals, they also played at Maidan during Orange Revolution. - The band released their debut album Amore in 2006. - Their second album Rombarbar (Ромбамбар) has been released in June, 2010.
