しゃるろっと


しゃるろっと (Charlotte) is a japanese oshare kei band. Their songs are mostly upbeat rock songs, with some playful, punky or bluesy elements here and there. The band started its activities as Charlotte in December 2000 with a live at Yokohama arena sound hole. Their current line-up then was 和乃 (Kazuno) on vocals, 琉華 (Ruka) on bass, 隆祢 (Takane) on drums and 密乗 (Mitsujou) on guitar (support). 密乗 became the official member in February 2001 and this was the official beginning of the band. Late 2001, 十夜 (Touya) joined the band as the second guitarist and the band also changed their name from Charlotte to しゃるろっと. From their start to this day, the band has released various maxi-singles, two mini-albums and featured on a few compilation albums like HYSTERIC MEDIA ZONE, Shock Edge etc. They've also released two compilation albums of their own songs. According to Charlotte's OHP, vocalist Kazuno has passed away on April 5th, 2011 due to what they've been calling a sudden illness. Read more on Last.fm.
