Younha (Japanese: ユンナ, Yunna, Korean: 고윤하 (Go Youn-ha)), born April 29, 1988 in Seoul, Korea, is a Korean singer who is signed under Wealive in South Korea. She released her first Korean album, '고백하기 좋은 날' in 2007 and officially stepped into the Korean music scene. Prior to her domestic debut, she she released her first and overall single ゆびきり (Yubikiri) in 2004. Younha started playing the piano at the age of 4. Younha has released seven singles and one album so far in Japan, and an eighth single is slated for release in September, 2006. Her first single, Yubikiri, contains her only two Korean songs, and was used during the J-Drama series Tokyo Wankei. Her third single was the Bleach anime's 3rd ending theme, ほうき星 (Houkiboshi; Comet). Also on the single Houkiboshi was the song 思い出にできない (Omoide ni Dekinai), used as the ending theme to the movie Tenshi ga Orita hi. Younha also acted in the movie Tenshi ga Orita hi. Younha's debut album included the songs オレンジの初恋 (Orenji no Hatsukoi) and マイ☆ラバ (My Lover), both used in the Game Cube game Bleach GC: Tasogare Ni Mamieru Shinigami. Her single 手をつないで (Te wo Tsunaide) is used as the ending theme for the anime series Jyu Oh Sei.
