三好真亜沙

Maasa Miyoshi is a contemporary classical and media composer born in 1990 in Kyoto. She studied composition at Tokyo University of the Arts and its graduate school. According to an interview, she was absorbed in Mahler's music when she was in high school and "loves end of XIXth century music, when it is overripe and on the verge of decay." While still in school, she also wrote choral music that is often performed. For "Luigi's Mansion: Main Theme" from "Super Smash Bros. Special," she not only used the original music, but also cooked up sound materials from the game to create a massive orchestral arrangement. The latter half of the song becomes a gorgeous waltz with powerful low strings and sparkling celesta and piano. Read more on Last.fm.
