Liu Wen Zheng or Steven Liu (Traditional Chinese 劉文正; Simplified Chinese 刘文正; Cantonese: Lau Man-ching; Mandarin pinyin: Liú wēnzhèng, born 22 November 1952) is a Taiwanese singer who came into prominence in the 70s and the 80s as a pop-singing sensation. He has been using the moniker The White Prince (白馬王子 Baima Wángzi) throughout his singing career. Liu is known for the many nostalgic songs he sang and his handsome looks that are comparable to that of Alain Delon. He could be superseded as one of the first superstar idols in the history of the Chinese music industry, paving way for future talents to come. During the height of his career, Liu Wen Zheng commanded an appearance fee of NT$240,000 cash per night.
