奥村初音
Okumura Hatsune (奥村初音), now releasing under the name Hatsune (初音), is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter on avex trax. Born in the Osaka Prefecture, she was named Hatsune, meaning first note, by her music-loving parents. She began taking ballet and piano lessons at an early age, and in her fifth year of elementary school, began writing and composing her own music. She has since written over 80 original songs.
