理想混蛋
Forming in late 2017, Bestards is a Taiwanese pop rock and folk band. The Mandarin name of the quartet is inspired by bastard of 還是要相信愛情啊混蛋們 (You Lovely Bastard) of Waa Wei's eponymous album, a song that the band has performed in their earlier days. Thinking of an suitable opposite to bastard, 理想 (ideal) became the word. The band members are doctors outside of their band career but initially connected within the guitar clubs of their colleges. The group became immensely popular in 2018 after publishing their first two singles 行星 (The Planet) and 不是因為天氣晴朗才愛你 (Rain or Shine). Entering 2020, the group published their debut album 愚者 (The Fool) to great commercial reception. With the success of the band, main vocal 理想混蛋 雞丁 (Kidding) published his debut mini album, 底片裡的夏卡爾 (Chagall in the Memory).
