Soshi Hosoi (Soushi Hosoi), 細井 聡司 (ほそいそうし), is a composer from Kyoto, Japan (born 27 january 1967). He has been working with a various amount of aliasses, of which Hoso-Q, Satoshi Hosoi and Hosplug are most known, Hosoi has been working in the video game industry for most of his life. In 1992 he started working for a game publisher untill he started his solo carreer in 2007. During this time his publushed works would often be credited as Hoso-Q. Between 1997 and 2002 there has been little info about his work. Since 2002 he started working on several projects, again mainly in the japanese gaming industry in which he became to known for music well-fitted to it's theme, but being very selective of which projects he'd accept. In 2003 he composed the music for the anime Onegai Twins, which is probably his most notable work in terms of international appearances. He'd again compose music for anime in 2006 for Kashimashi (かしまし ～ガール・ミーツ・ガール～) and a year later in 2007 for Ayakashi (アヤカシ). Since 2005 he started his own webstream on BBstation, iTunes and several lesser-known sites. With these music streams he tries to give his listeners a wider example of music he likes to compose.
