蒼音タヤ

蒼音 (Soune; Blue sound) - This name is from a pun on sou ne or oh, well. 蒼音 is the choice of corresponding pronunciation and leads to Taya's overall blue motif. Still, blue sound itself hardly has a point in Japanese. His given name is the voice source's name written in Katakana. Taya is designed for Japanese language only. He does not have phonemes for other languages. His voice data is written in Kana, so Western users must convert the filenames into Romaji first before using him. A feature in Taya is that he can both sound like a male or female, hence being illustrated as a hermaphrodite. Taya is shown to be able to sing both high and low, and can succeed in singing in both octaves decently, but sounds best in between Alto 2 and Tenor 1 tone(s). Even though Taya has a pleasant voice, the pronunciations are a bit difficult to understand without proper tweaking. RELEASE DATE November 20, 2008 Read more on Last.fm.
