Bing Chih Xiao made his first debut as a vocalist for the band Magic Power in 2009. Acting as a vocalist for the band, most of the songs were written by him. In the past, Bing Chih usually wore sunglasses for his public appearances. He may seem a bit cool and uncaring, however, the songs he writes always transmits endless power and warmth to the audience’s heart. His first two hits “I Still Love You” and “Who Am I” aim to encourage people to be fearless of social stereotypes, judgements and binds, advocating one to find and connect with yourself, and to have the courage to stay true to yourself. Due to this healing characteristic in his songs, he has gained immense popularity among teenagers. Bing Chih is good at creating music with the piano. He has written songs for many famous singers. He describes writing songs as a life salvation journey. Through the power of music, he’s able to freely express the multiple facets of “love” in different versions of life. Only through creating music can he finally find a way to release and express his emotions. In 2018, he released his first solo album Mortal. This album focuses on encouraging people to observe, listen, and fully embrace their feelings, even during their darkest moments in life. In 2022, Bing Chih released his second album.
