許慧欣 (Simplified: 许慧欣 Pinyin: Xǔ Huì Xīn English: Evonne Hsu) ...(born on December 5, 1980 in Texas, USA) is an Overseas-Chinese pop singer. She began her singing career in Taiwan. She released her first album To Be Happy in January of 2002, immediately rising to fame and gaining recognition for her talent, looks, and personality. A few months later,in September 2002, she released her second album Lonely Ballet which built up her popularity in China. After 10 months' preparation, she released the third album Beautiful Love. It was her most popular album. The song 7th July, Sunny is her most popular song to date. Her fourth album, Happiness, wasn't as popular although the songs are all nice and fashionable. So she stopped singing for more than a year and released a collection of her most popular songs featuring 4 brand new tracks in November 2005. During this time, she began acting. In October 2006, her long-awaited album, Mystery was released. This album was popular in Mainland China but not in Taiwan. Maybe her newest album will be released soon. Read more on Last.fm.
