달마시안


Dalmatian (달마시안) is a six-member boy band from South Korea, created and managed by Monkey Funch Entertainment which also manages MC Mong. They changed their name to DMTN when they signed with 2 year agency in November 2012. The group consists of Inati (leader & rapper), Dari (rapper), Jeesu (main vocalist), Young Won (vocalist) and Daniel (lead vocalist), Simon (rapper/vocalist) and ex-member Day Day (rapper). Dalmatian released their first single Round 1 on September 1 2010 and officially debuted on September 2 on Mnet's music program M!Countdown. They released their first mini album, 달마시안 1st Mini Album on February 14, 2011. The group name of Dalmatian combines both the concepts of a musician and the dog breed. The meaning behind Dalmatian is ‘very loyal, never shameful, has an outgoing personality, and is free-spirited’. Dalmatian promises to always stay loyal to their commitment of giving it their all through music. In May 2012 Dalmatian announced member Day Day (David Kim) dropped out due to personal reasons. Simon, who was supposed to debut with Dalmatian joined the group with the release of their new mini album State of Emergency. On November 2012, Dalmatian announced their contract expired with IS Entertainment and that they signed up with 2 year agency, 2Works Entertainment.
