산울림

산울림 (Sanullim, or sometimes Sanulrim) was a rock band from Seoul, South Korea. Starting with their first album in 1977, they performed and recorded through the 80s and 90s, releasing more than a dozen albums, maintaining a position as one of the top bands of South Korea's rock scene. The three members of Sanullim were brothers: 김창완 (Kim Chang-wan) (vocals and guitar, 1954-), 김창훈 (Kim Chang-hoon) (bass and guitar, 1956-), and 김창익 (Kim Chang-ik) (drums,1958-2008). Later in their career, the band's activities were greatly curtailed as the members relocated to Canada and the U.S.A., though they came together occasionally for concerts and recording. The band formally ceased activities after the drummer's death in 2008 in a work-related accident in Vancouver, Canada. Kim Chang-wan is actively performing as a musician, actor, writer and broadcast celebrity. Read more on Last.fm.
