D'Kalimbo (formerly known as Capitan benji) was born in a town called Calabar, in Nigeria. He grew up there where he showed musical abilities at an early age. He was encouraged musically by his mother and from the age of 14, he was the church organist. He's played with various bands in Nigeria and for various artists. His musical ideas has made him one in a million. He came to Panama to join his better half and has been taking his musical career even to greater heights. By the end of 2006, he produced a christmas CD for his wife titled Amana Mi. He has shown great abilities in writing songs and also producing. He is admired by all and his song style is well loved by the people. A una edad temprana empezó a mostrar grandes destrezas musicales. Su madre al ver su talento le alentó a seguir el camino musical y cuando el tenia 14 anos empezo a tocar el piano de la iglesia. Mas adelante toco para varias bandas musicales y artistas Nigerianos. Sus ideas musicales le han hecho muy especial uno en un millón.
