D'ESPAIRSRAY (formerly typeset as DéspairsRay, +DéspairsRay+ and D'espairsRay) is a Japanese Visual kei band from Japan formed on September 9, 1999 and officially went on a hiatus in 2011 due to the vocalist's vocal cord problem. Their music can be described as metal, pop-rock and industrial in the early days. Outside Japan, D'espairsRay have toured Europe and North America and had domestic releases in those territories. They reunited after the vocalist's recovery in [yearreturn]2026[/yearreturn] with a new single, RAPTURE and are to perform at the 1st European J-rock visual kei Fest in Paris (B7KLAN J-ROCK FEST).
