Excellent


Excellent (August 17, 1981) is a Dutch rapper born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. At the age of 16, Excellent (aka E.X., Excellini and the Underdog) moved to Rotterdam where he discovered and developed his rhyming talent. Inspired by the American acts Canibus, Outsidaz, N.W.A. and Dr. Dre, the Dutch youngster rapidly created his own unique style, shining in various freestyle and battle events. Excellent is the most visible member of Rotterdam hip-hop collective Tuig Commissie and was part of X2C, a rap duo with another Rotterdam rapper CC from VSOP. In 2003 Excellent released his first album called the EX-Filez. The rapper used his underground album as a demo to sign a record deal. In June 2006, he released his official debut album called EX-Calibur on Redrum Recordz. The album featured various Dutch artists like Jiggy Djé, Tim, CC and Tenshun. In July 2008, Excellent released his third album, on Zware Jongens Records, called EX-Facta. Read more on Last.fm.
