Darius Robert Wayne (born October 12, 1991), known professionally just as Robert Wayne or Ezediel, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, art-director, entrepreneur, athlete and model. From his debut Ezediel went from being almost undiscovered to reaching millions listenings independently, transcending the limitations of singular genres blending his dark unique vocal delivery, pained lyrics, hip-hop and nu-metal productions with complete opposite music waves and influences. The multidisciplinary artist was born in New York, NY (USA). With a developing passion for music and the arts from a really young age, he learnt to use them to channel his emotional pain from growing up in a harsh environment. His work is characterized by its unique style crafted from many different artistic stimuli – he is a Bachelor of Arts major and a student of every kind of visual arts, theatre, choreography, and cinema. He is also a grappler and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu professional competitor. During the 2020 worldwide pandemic, Wayne decided to launch his professional career as a musician under the name of Ezediel, derived from Hesediel, the archangel of freedom, benevolence and mercy, and the code 717 as his birth time.
