Jordin Brianna Sparks (born December 22, 1989) is an American singer and actress. She became known in 2007 after winning the sixth season of “American Idol” at the age of 17, making her the youngest winner in the show’s history. Following her win, she released her debut studio album “Jordin Sparks” in 2007, which reached number ten on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, with worldwide sales exceeding two million copies. The album produced the singles “Tattoo”, which reached the Billboard Hot 100 top ten, and “No Air” (with Chris Brown), which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals, and sold several million copies in the United States. In 2009 she released her second studio album “Battlefield”, which debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200 and included the title track “Battlefield”, which reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. Other singles from the album included “S.O.S. (Let the Music Play)” and “Don’t Let It Go to Your Head”. In 2014 she released the mixtape “#ByeFelicia”, and in 2015 she released her third studio album “Right Here Right Now”. She later released the albums “Cider & Hennessy” in 2020 and “No Restrictions” in 2024.
