Raffaëla

Raffaela incorrectly redirects here; Raffaela was an italo disco singer in the 80's. Raffaëla (birthname: Raffaëla Paton) is the winner of the Dutch version of American Idol ('Idols') season 3. Raffaëla was controversial since the start of the show, since she stated to be in love with judge Henk-Jan Smits. In a later show she reavealed it was a joke and 'Idols' didn't show the footage of her saying so. At the liveshows, she revealed to be pregnant, which infuriated judge Henk-Jan. This didn't hold her back, and eventually she beat Floortje in the final. Her debut album 'Raffaëla' consisted mostly of covers and the winner's single from 'Idols': Right Here Right Now (My Heart Belongs to You). Raffaëla is currently a member of the girlgroup Monroe. She is the niece of popular Dutch singer Ruth Jacott. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
