There are at least 2 artists known as Relocate: 1) Re:Locate is an alias of Paul Moelands, young trance producer, also known as Octagen, Palanya and Scratch Bandicoot. Rocketed into the trance scene late 2003, Paul Moelands has become one of the leading upcoming producers that trance land has to offer nowadays! Both Re:Locate – Waterfall and Octagen & Arizona (his project with Thomas Bronzwaer) – Starburst releases were shot into orbit and picked up by every self respected DJ around! Paul Moelands, born '83, got into touch with music at a very early age. Growing up in quite the creative family, things got on a roll when Paul started playing the piano. Keeping at that for a long time, the piano teacher - fond of improvisation - woke up the musically creative drive in Paul. Inspired by the early gabber and hardcore at that time, the goal was there: creating electronic dance music. A few years later on, when the dance and trance started rising, Paul got really inspired. Experimenting on trance-music with a newly met school friend Jan Waterman, Paul got his hands on some software, where he do create his own thing. It wasn’t for another 3 years, before his music started to get heard. 2002 brought him into contact with Raz Nitzan, A&R of Fundamental Recordings; what seemed one of the key moments later.
