Steve 'n' Chris Performing Musical Artiste With their smooth vocal abilities, complimented by beautiful tones in which they harmonize, not forgetting their love for writing and producing music, Steve 'n' Chris are not just talented young men but a multi-talented duo with a focus. Both native of Trinidad & Tobago, Steve Walcott born on August 16th 1982 and Chris Mayer’s born on March 6th 1983, has come together as one to make melodic sounds. These two young men are best friend Walcott’s that holds one thing in mind, which is to earn success through the use of music. Steve 'n' Chris are a duo that has the voice, look, style and motivation of any other artiste and gives their utmost best in their mission assigned. The duo was formed in the year 2007, but before their found chemistry of their present project, they were members of several groups that formulated at their Diego Martin Secondary School. During their school days, Walcott and Mayer’s were members of a group called 'For The Love'. Being no strangers to the stage Steve Walcott and Chris Mayer’s had the opportunity to serenade delegates of the Miss World 2003 local leg, while being members of a group called 'Distinguished Gentlemen'. In the year 1999 they won several awards at a music festival with a Steel Pan orchestra by the name of 'Genre'. With their present group, Walcott and Mayer’s entered the local television series of Synergy Soca Star season 4 and this is where they gained popularity by the public ...
