サタンです


サタンです (SATANDESU) began as a plunderphonics project in early 2008, started by two members of the music website last.fm. Known as salvo87 and wicked, the duo originally created blackened j-pop by remixing black metal and Japanese pop songs together. Later releases also sampled internet video clips, mashed with songs of varying genres to create abstract stories, parodies of current events, and references to 4chan memes. The first seven albums were distributed directly through last.fm's artist page and filehosting sites linked therein. The two members split up in late 2008, the same year as the group's creation. サタンです was then brought back in 2010, albeit without salvo's involvement. The cut-up/mash-up style continued until early 2019, at which point it became a multi-genre DJ mix project.
