山本健誌/久馬浩一
Kenji Yamamoto and Kouichi Kyuma or 山本健誌 and 久馬浩一 are best known for their work on the Metroid Prime Soundtrack. Yamamoto was the lead composer for the score with Kyuma as his assistant. The Metroid Prime Soundtrack was not Yamamoto's first contribution for the Metroid series. In 1994 he created the legendary Super Metroid Soundtrack with Minako Hamano. Both Metroid Prime and it's sequel Echoes feature strong musical references to Super Metroid and of course also to Hirokazu Tanaka's work on the original Metroid. Contrary to common belief Kenji Yamamoto is not the same person responsible for the soundtracks of the Dragon Ball Z Budokai series. when spelled in english their names are identical but apparently they are spelled with different kanji characters in japanese.
