日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団

日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団 The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra is a professional philharmonic orchestra in Japan. Sometimes abbreviated as the Japan Philharmonic or Japan Philharmonic, it is a regular member of the Japan Federation of Orchestras. It has a series of concerts called the "Japan Philharmonic Series." This is a rare concert series in the history of Japanese music based on the premise of a concert premiere, in which they perform Japanese works composed by Japanese composers. This began in 1958 during the founding of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Since the first work, Akio Yashiro's "Symphony," forty works have been performed to date, curiously enough, the eighth work is missing. Read more on Last.fm.
