Ben Xi (本兮) was a Chinese Hui singer who passed away in 2016 . She was born in Xinjiang, China on June 30, 1994 and her real name was Ma Xiaochen (马晓晨). On December 24, 2016 she committed suicide by jumping off a building. In 2008 Ben released her first original song and began releasing many covers and original songs the year after. In 2011 she released her first album titled GOGO未成年. Ben released a total of 12 albums before her death, and one final album was released in 2018, two years after her death. Read more on Last.fm.
