辛曉琪


Winnie Hsin (辛曉琪) is a Taiwanese balladeer. She is best known for her crystal-clear soprano voice. In 1976 she was admitted to the Taipei Hwa Kang Arts School (華岡藝術學校), and in 1979 she studied music in the Chinese Culture University (中國文化大學) in Taipei. After graduation, she became a music teacher in the established Yamaha Music School in Taipei. Her first album, Lonely Winter (寂寞的冬), was released in 1986. She has released 16 albums thus far, under the respective labels of Decca Records,Rock Records and Warner Music. Besides albums, Winnie's other works includes but not limited to the following: In 1995, she voiced as Pocahontas in the Mandarin cover of Pocahontas (1995 film) produced by Walt Disney alongside Andy Lau who voiced Captain John Smith. Winnie also sang the Mandarin version of the theme song Colors of the Wind and all other soundtracks in this movie. In 2003, she also starred in the Musical, 梁祝 (Butterfly Lovers), in Taiwan in which she played the female lead of 祝英台. In 2006, Winnie held 2 ticketed solo concerts in her own name Winnie Hsin The Promise Concert in Taiwan on 30 June and 1 July. On 26 July 2008, she brought (The Promise) concert to Malaysia, Genting Highlands. On 7July 2007, Winnie performed at the Live Earth concert in Shanghai, China.
