Benshi is a underground rapper from Sydney, Australia making Aesthetic Rap Music. The Genre was started or popularized by rappers such as 1nonly, lilbubblegum and shadymoon. He first started using audacity to make songs with close friends as a joke never posting them because they were god awful but eventually found a style of rap that he liked which was Aesthetic Rap. He has collaborated with kyotosdesire, VRD and 06Steve making songs such as ‘Cilantro’, ‘Black Chuffs’, ‘Alice’ and ‘Tokyo!’. He is an upcoming rapper/producer. His most successful song ‘Riding Round in a Rova’ which has over 500k streams as of 16th June 2022, this song was actually made as a joke.
