Originally from Toronto, Bilass spent most of his years growing up in Montreal. He discovered his passion for poetry when he was 13, and started off ghost writing for his friends. By 14 years old, the young lyricist started focusing on his own music and recording his own tracks. He grew up listening mainly to Tupac, Notorious B.I.G, Eazy-E, Common, N.W.A, Wu-Tang, and Bone-Thugz-N-Harmony. The producer J-Dilla has also been a huge influence on his music. Now 21 years old, Bilass has developed a versatile style in rapping, flow on point, and impeccable delivery. His style consists more of a Hip-Hop flavour. Bilass, upcoming rapper/songwriter, is far from being alone on his career path. He managed to surround himself with talented individuals who have expertise in other areas of the music industry, such as Ray J. (graduated from MusiTechnic in Sound, Music and Applied Digital Technics), and Kevin B. (Social-Media Marketer, Manager/Promoter).
