The garage, bluesy and neo-psychedelic sound of Caballo was born in winter 2004. A meeting of the minds of Angela Gugliotta and José Henríquez, musicians who explore the nexus between noise and several musical genres, like My bloody Valentine, the Jesus and Mary Chain or Sonic Youth, Caballo deconstructs noise over the words. Henríquez was delighted with the pure and noisy sound of some bands that shared stage at the legendary CBGB's where he played with Culto Oculto at the end of the nineties, and then started to experiment on his own with sounds until he and Angela Gugliotta decided try it together. Then Caballo was born. Once you dreamed you were free, but when you woke up you were in a fenced field. Caballo. You wanted to run but you couldn’t. You wanted to jump, to get out from there.
