Jesper Nilsson Born in Perstorp 1974, raised in Kristianstad, Sweden For Jesper music have always been his biggest interest, his childhood was filled with old Syntpop, Industrial music. He started playing the Trumpet at age 10, but later traded it in for a Casio keyboard, then he started playing, imitating his idols like Depeche Mode. From the Casio keyboard he then bought a Korg M1, which had a small sequencer, 100’s of tracks were made with the killer workstation at the time. First collaboration was with Mattias Nybble & Mika Rossi in the synthpop/industrial band “Endless Shame” But then electronic music took different shifts, Jesper being tired of being associated with Neo-Nazi’s who were infiltrating the Synth scene in Sweden, found interest in Rave Music, some time spent working with a few friends with Hiphop, in Swedish (skåne accent). And then came Goa trance, first track was a remix of a Sven Väth track, 1992! Rather than lyrics, he made melodies as the Korg M1, really didn’t have much analog feeling. Late 1990’s he began to build his own studio, bascially a cheap pc, soundblaster compatible soundcard (noise & hiss), Yamaha An1x, and a Clavia Micromodular. From the Modular he learned modular synthesis, also Analog synthesis. And he found a mint condition Korg ms-20 for a good price, and its still in fine shape.
