Derma-Tek, an electro-industrial music project, was born in the psyche of Joe Cains. While his compositions were a palate of auditory sensations, he needed to address the lack of verbal communication in his music. Enter Miranda St. Croix. Miranda's ability to express thoughts and feelings that are not solely one's own, but shared by the human collective, make her an integral part of the project, adding powerful yet moving lyrics to a mix of heavy electronic sounds and an insatiable desire for rhythm.
