Stevhen Iancu -the Japanese Romanian who founded the group has developed a lot of the band's Gypsy, Jap Pop repertoire as well as varieties in jazz, ragtime, carnival, Motown, drinking, songs, cartoon, voodoo, hillbilly, hip hop, and punk muzik to create a back drop for their demented stories of the kitchen, murderers, mental patients, drunken crazies and others that have fallen into the Dolomite stew. The Dolomite peasants have been been described as EVIL DISNEY music. Among other things a live cooking show is a big part of the Dolomites performance from frying up some onion rings and chicken, to steak and shrimp, a campaign called sMeLL the MuziK! has filled the bellies of the starving audiences.
