Eldrine


Eldrine is a Georgian rock band that represented Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with their entry, One More Day. The band consists of Tamar Vadachkoria (lead vocals), Mikheil Chelidze (guitarist), Irakli Bibilashvili (bass guitar), David Changoshvili (drummer), Tamar Shekiladze (keyboard) and Beso Tsikhelashvili (DJ). The band “Eldrine” was started by two bosom friends Miken and Chango . After meeting the other members of the band,Tamuna and Gia, they started working on the album still searching for the vocalist. A lot of people who attended the castings did have good vocal abilities. But the guys were seeking for someone special. On finishing the album they remembered about Eldrine, an old friend of theirs who was addicted to music. Having listened to her singing they were amazed - it was just the thing they had been looking for. The band got sort of obsessed by her. They worked with passion on the album and it seemed to be excellent. The guys were on the right way to success. But in the end Eldrine decided to reject their proposal, due to some negative show business memories. Her refusal was caused also by the fact that at that moment she was keeping a position in a prestigious company. Still the guys didn’t give up, they kept on holding castings.
