Growing up in a beach side suburb of Sydney Benjamin left high school at the age of 15 to become a founding member of rock and roll band Bluebottle Kiss. Benjamin played bass and guitar on 5 Bluebottle Kiss albums & various other releases including: (Higher Up The Fire Trails (1994), Double Yellow Tarred (1995), Fear Of Girls (1996), Somnambulist Homesick Blues (1997), Tapdancing On The Titanic (1998), Patient (1999), Revenge Is Slow (2002), Come Across (2004)). Bluebottle Kiss toured relentlessly throughout Australia, the USA and the UK. Fletcher started his own band The Devoted Few, as songwriter and vocalist, in January 2001. The band released 3 full length albums and an EP; (Sleepless (2002), Billboard Noises (2004), Baby, You're A Vampire (2009)) and (Schematic Tracks (2005)). The Devoted Few toured extensively around Australia with bands such as Dappled Cities, Sarah Blasko and Eskimo Joe. In 2004 Benjamin left Bluebottle Kiss to concentrate solely on The Devoted Few.
