Gormanic

Gormanic (born December 2, 1979) is a French dance producer, and DJ who has had worldwide chart success with 'ETANKA'. Gormanic began promoting his music on the streets of Paris in 1994 and worked his way around France promoting his own blend of sleek electronic rhythms, lush filmic textures and dance before being discovered in 1997 and releasing ‘ETANKA’ on Duckneck Records, which became a chart hit worldwide reaching #54 in Finland, #62 in Israel and #112 in New Zealand. Gormanic has brought up a cult following with his unique rhythms that combine modern electro with hooks from yesteryear. He can be caught DJ-ing in clubs all over France, and, occasionally, across Europe during the summer season. His one great contribution to the world of music, ‘ETANKA’ has stood the test of time and critics still rave about the thumping, drum-heavy chorus and hook-packed vocal of the poetic ‘ETANKA’.
