Japunga
Vocals: Jef Carter Bass: Luke Lawrence Drums: Rudi Weber Japunga are a brisbane based band who have become somewhat of a local phenomonon along the east coast of Queensland Australia. They first released an EP 'Beginings' which together with local and national radio helped them form a small, dedicated fan base. Their first full length LP was titled 'Light at Days End' with songs like 'The Price', 'Justify' and 'You Ain't Nothing' it's sometimes considered the heavier of the two current full lenght LP's, the other being 'Souls Conflicting' however Souls Conflicting makes more use of Jef Carter's melodic singing such as in '100 years', 'Theory' and 'Just say Goodbye'. Overall their music is described as 'a mix of Rock to contemporary metal, melodic Songs with convicting lyrics and strong melody.' -Official Japunga Website.
