
Jumo
Jumo is a producer, composer, and visual artist from France. A self-taught musician, he has developed a unique artistic universe that blends atmospheric electronic music with visual experimentation. Spotted by Nowadays Records, he gained recognition through a series of EPs and singles, including Aléa, Nomade, and Ville. In 2021, he released his debut album Et le vent ?, collaborating with artists such as Léonie Pernet, Awir Léon, and Hyacinthe. His style, both melancholic and striking, is exemplified in tracks like L’Exode, Première Vie, and Minuit, which showcase his penchant for ethereal sound textures that oscillate between softness and urgency.
With millions of streams across platforms, Jumo has established himself as a key figure in the French electronic music scene. Alongside his musical projects, he co-founded the Cela collective, through which he explores the intersection of music and visual arts, reinforcing his multidisciplinary approach.
Jumo is now also venturing into film and documentary scoring, bringing his distinctive sound to cinematic projects. He has composed the original soundtracks for the documentaries La Flamme Ukrainienne and Comme si j’étais morte, marking a new chapter in his artistic journey. Always seeking innovation, he is now embracing a more club-oriented direction, drawing inspiration from 90s techno and IDM while continuing to push the boundaries between electronic music and visual storytelling.
