K-Oh


K-OH is the alias of Jorge Michael, DJ, organizer, and producer born and raised in the northern region of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Initially focusing on the raw underground rave sounds and ethos from the UK and mainland Europe (with a soft spot for Belgian hardcore), it was just a matter of time until Brazil's rich and burgeoning Baile scene caught his eyes and ears. Inspired by producers such as Badsista, Felix, RHR, Evehive, ERAM, and Pianki (to name a few), and drawing ideas from philosophers and writers such as Mark Fisher, Gilles Deleuze, and Simon Reynolds, his mixes and productions work as maps highlighting the connections shared between popular Brazilian dance music and various rave and bass music genres from around the world.
