KAVARI (Cameron Sofia Winters) is a British artist, music producer, and DJ currently based in Glasgow, Scotland. KAVARI was born on November 27th 1998 in Birkenhead, England and later moved to the North East of Scotland in early childhood. She began performing later in her teens at club nights and underground raves in and around Scotland. Her abrasive sound design and soft melodic soundscapes has garnered her great amounts of attention, being described as ...the fastest growing name in the Scottish underground music scene. in 2021 after having played a plethora of shows at some of the most popular venues in the country. She has so far received numerous accolades for her work, including being nominated for Best Electronic Artist at the 2021 Scottish Alternative Music Awards, as well as having features with DJ Mag, BBC Introducing, Low Arts Club, and Ma3azef. Her work has been described as heaven & hell colliding. Her performances and DJ sets are known to be incredibly high energy, extreme, and genre-less experiences that display some of the darkest, most intricate sounds imaginable. Influenced by styles such as drum & bass, ambient, industrial, hard dance, noise, and 2000's electronica, her music spans the most delicate realms of ambience to the harshest planes of noise.
