Ken Rangkuty (Keenhouse) is an electronic musician and producer based in Los Angeles, California. Ken was born in 1981 in Giessen, Germany. Raised by a family formed of pianists and sculpture artists, Rangkuty spent his childhood between Germany and Indonesia where he connected with eastern and western music. This wide spectrum of different cultures and artistic disciplines inspired him to create his own musical projects, a unique and distinctive blend of traditional instruments and modern electronic sounds. Keenhouse - his personal synonym of curiosity and exploration is the accumulation of those influences. Ken Rangkuty started his musical career in Germany where he first contributed to numerous productions as an instrumentalist. In 2001 Ken Rangkuty moved to Los Angeles in search for an environment where he could expand his artistic goals and work closely together with like-minded artists. Soon after his arrival, Rangkuty started collaborating with Los Angeles-based and international artists, including New Age Pioneer Osamu Kitajima, Multi- Platinum music producer John Ryan (Santana, Styx, Allman Brothers, Ike & TinaTurner), Van Dyke Parks (The Beach Boys, Randy Newman), Latin composer and author Carlos Campos (Karmen Z, José Liriano).
