Kernel-0 is a metal-mosh-core band which was founded,in early 2000, in Salerno by Luca and Antonio Lanzetta, who are brothers in the real life and,at the same time, the singer and the bassist player of the band,that proposed its music around the clubs of their city and region and, in winter 2003, begun to record its first demo,which was called Connection Zero to a Temporal Space. The band was forced to break their musical adventure after the live show with Browbeat (04/01/04),because there were many problems in the line up,that caused an inevitable breaking off in the group. After six months of empty, Kernel-0 comes back to the scene with the intention to turn a corner with an aggressive sound and at first with a new line-up: Giuseppe Nicolais (ex Ordinary Scene),Adolfo Rosolia and Angelo D'Addio (from Insight),were taken in the band to create a new hardcore musical project. The 2005 brings a promotional single of 2 tracks,Who I Am and Defending what is yours, recorded and mastered at the HH_Studio by Guido Torre . In march 2005 the drummer Giuseppe Sorrentino entered in the band. Kernelzero try to propose a sound in which the new hardcore school meets extreme metal, like Burnt By the Sun,Cataract,Full Blown Chaos,Terror, Hatebreed and more others.Kernel-0 now dedicates itself in live shows and creation of new songs for a full lenght which is entitled 3 hours of silence before death and which will be released by the japanese edge label xCrossfire Recordsx in summer 2006.
