There is more than one band with this name: 1) The band Korea have changed its name to The Korea. Please change your tags. The Korea is a Russian band from St. Petersburg mixing different styles of heavy music such as mathcore/alternative metal. The band was formed in spring of 2003 in St. Petersburg. Since that moment Korea at once has carved its own niche in the musical environment as an extraordinary and original band. Experimenting with music and its styles band immediately draw attention, as an interesting product, each time emphasizing its own uniqueness. In 2004 they've released DEMO. In the spring of 2005 Korea recorded the debut album under the name On the broken wings (На сломанных крыльях)(Na slomannyh kryliah). The record has received good responses not only from listeners, but also from colleagues of musicians. Little bit later band shoots the debut video on a song Polusa. In the summer of 2007 Korea starts recording of the second album under the name Pulse (Пульс). Work on mix and mastering of the album passed in Danish studio “Smart ' n ' Hand studio”, under attentive control of Jacob Bredahl.
