Koschei


Koschei was formed when Ewan and Callum decided to come together to form another band. The duo had been in a band together a few months before called "Black Watch", but the band didn't get very far and did not even have a gig to their name. Deciding to try again, Ewan and Callum started putting up adverts in music shops around Bath to get the members required to create the band that they wanted. After several interviews a bassist, Alex, called Ewan and met up with the two. The trio gelled and the band began to take shape. However despite several interviews and one unfortunate case where a guitarist was hired, but had to leave to live in Oxford, the band wouldn't be complete until September when Callum got a call from a musician named Joe. Although Joe originally tried for guitar, he decided that the band would benefit from his talents as a drummer, more than his guitar-playing. Finally, Ewan called a guitarist he had met at a party and Simon "Smiler" was brought in. The band had now got a complete line-up, and the music from the rain began. Unfortunately, a while later, following internal problems between himself and the band, Joe decided to depart, leaving Koschei temporarily without a drummer. After some time searching for a new drummer, Josh "Buda" Harris agreed to join the band.
