Lieutenant
Lieutenant is the side project started by bassist Nate Mendel, formerly of Sunny Day Real Estate, The Fire Theft, and currently of the Foo Fighters. Their debut album, If I Kill This Thing We're All Going To Eat For A Week was released on March 10th, 2015 through Dine Alone Music. Nate recorded this album on his off-time from his very busy schedule with the Foo Fighters. The project was first mentioned roughly five years ago when Nate was learning to play guitar. He received help from former Modest Mouse drummer Joe Plummer and fellow band mate Chris Shiflett. Also credited with work on the album is former band mate Jeremy Enigk, lead vocalist for Sunny Day Real Estate. The band will pursue on a month long tour to support the album from March 18th, to April 8th. Read more on Last.fm.
