There are at least 8 bands called Limousine: 1) Limousine (see/listen: Not The One): Met in autumn 2003 in Switzerland. Their common passion: Rock'n'Roll, straight from the gut, right to the heart. Yet all four members had band experience, they quickly found out that the dynamics of an all-girl-combo would set free extraordinary energy. Their demo album was recorded in only 2 days. It was quite a surprise for the band when a distributor became aware of it, suggesting to launch the album as roughly as it was. Media response was far beyond expectations. Limousine's songs tell stories about thorns in hearts and the power of failure. Compositions are simple, without frills, but catchy melodies might get you hooked more easily than you'd like them to. 2) Limousine were formed in Cordoba, Spain by mid 2001 under the premise of creating different rock music, evocative and that didnt rely on mainstream criteria. Their career started when they stood for the contest Desafinado, whose jury had distinguished personalities of the national alternative scene as Jesus Llorente (in charge of the label Acuarela), J (singer of Los Planetas), or Julio Ruiz (Discogrande - RNE3). The members of the jury were astonished when the band decided to leave the stage at the very half of their performance, refusing to play under the awful sound conditions that the organization provided.
