Logdoggs established in 2001. Right at the beginning, we were not engaged in the music seriously. We just wrote lyrics and read them to each other; we didn’t have neither music, nor an experience, in one word, we didn’t have anything… There were three of us: me (Dude a.k.a. D-Warrior), Zhan (Shiftik a.k.a. Renegade) and Nurik (Crazy a.k.a. Enemy). We wrote the lyrics on Russian language and they were not very complex-rhymed and didn’t have any deep meaning. Then, in 2002, Crazy a.k.a. Enemy left our group. After that we had “a creative stagnation ” which was prolonged up to the middle of 2004. By the end of 2004 me and at Shiftik were ready for the game, and we started to record our first songs on well-known programm - eJay HipHop5, on English. We recorded them in my house,on a computer. In the same year we renamed our group in “Logdoggs”. But eventhough we had recorded 12-15 songs to the beginning of 2006 , we did not think to take music seriously. In the spring of 2006, we had decided to move to the new, more professional level ,and I (D-Warrior), had begun recording “Logdoggs(Remix)” song at Batyrhan Shukenov’s studio. In the meantime, Zhan (Shiftik) had found the editor-in-chief of KZMZ’s portal - Baghlan Ayazbaev(a.k.a. Bagman). He had agreed to record our second studio song-South Side, which was dedicated to Almaty.
