Ludmilla


Ludmilla Oliveira da Silva is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and actress. She started singing at the age of eight in the family pagodas, and from then on she started posting videos on YouTube. She later adopted the stage name MC Beyoncé, in homage to the American singer of the same name. In 2012, her song Fala Mal de Mim went viral in Brazil. After disagreements with her manager, she stopped using MC Beyoncé as a stage name, adopting her registration name. Her debut studio album, Hoje (2013), was released by Warner Music Brazil and spawned the singles Sem Querer, Hoje and Te Ensinei Certin. The second studio album, A Danada Sou Eu (2016), spawned several hit singles and impact on radio stations such as Bom, Sou Eu and Cheguei, and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese Language. In 2019, Ludmilla released her first live album, Hello Mundo, spawning the singles Favela Chegou, Invocada and A Boba Fui Eu. A studio version of the album was released in August of the same year. In 2021, she released her second live album, Numanice: Ao Vivo, recorded at Pão de Açúcar, in Rio de Janeiro. The following year, continuing the project, Ludmilla released her fourth studio album, Numanice 2 – which earned her a Latin Grammy for Best Samba/Pagode Album – and her third live album, Numanice 2: Ao Vivo, recorded at the Museu do Amanhã, also in Rio de Janeiro.
