Mzekezeke


Sibusiso Leope (born May 28, 1977), well known as Mzekezeke (musked kwaito artist), or DJ Sbu (unmusked house and radio DJ) is a South African kwaito artist. He is the co-owner of TS Records (with Daveyton-Born Thembinkosi Nciza), television presenter and philanthropist. Though DJ Sbu denies that he is Mzekezeke, he actually is. Though Mzekezeke is contracted to TS records, he has never been seen with DJ Sbu. A reliable source said Mzekezeke's lucrative deal with the municipality was earning him well over R1-million a year. An only child, he started his schooling at Welamlambo Primary School. In 1993 he matriculated at Central Secondary School in Pretoria.('[1]',) Sbu then went on to study Sound Engineering at African Media University. He has also studied electrical engineering at Technikon Witwatersrand for four years. His broadcasting career began in 1998 while doing some voluntary work on Thembisa Info Radio, a community radio station.
